SWF Encrypt is an application whose purpose is to provide a high security encryption level to SWF files, so other dedicated tools won’t be able to decrypt the information. The application was specifically designed to work with Adobe Flash 6, 7 and 8 SWF files.
The user interface is clean and intuitive, and it doesn’t take a lot of time to get used to working with this tool. The left pane of the application offers quick access to the local folders stored on your computer, so browsing for the SWF files seems nothing but a piece of cake.
Moreover, folders can be bookmarked and you can view details about each file added to the list, such as name, size, protection status, version, type, and path.
SWF Encrypt provides four encryption modes (high, recommended, low and custom) and several dedicated parameters for helping you encrypt data in XML and strings in plain text, and applying true or false values to the encrypted names, URL addresses, resources and others. Moreover, you can make the program overwrite the original filename.
The application keeps a log, which contains details about the encryption process and possible errors. During our testing we have noticed that the program is able to carry out a task pretty quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It also manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t affect the overall performance of the computer.
